Yakiniku King
About This Spot
Stepping into Yakiniku King in Komazawa feels like settling into a lively, approachable corner of Tokyo where the art of Korean barbecue is celebrated with care and ease. The space hums with a quiet energy, balancing the clink of grills and shared laughter against the smooth rhythm of attentive service. Whether arriving during a bustling lunch hour or the calmer pace of evening, there’s an inviting warmth that makes you feel right at home.
This isn’t a place to rush through your meal but one that encourages a relaxed, shared experience. The atmosphere gently buzzes with anticipation as plates of meticulously prepared beef and offal arrive at the table, each cut fresh and thoughtfully presented. The availability of buffet and set menu options offers a thoughtful flexibility for different appetites and moods, making it just as welcoming to those craving a full feast as it is to diners seeking a lighter taste of expertly grilled flavors.
The experience extends beyond the meat itself — the balance of sides and accompaniments, like crisp salads or subtly seasoned rice, weaves a comforting harmony around each bite. Conversations flow easily here, punctuated by moments of discovery as each new flavor or texture unfolds. Service is steady and helpful without interrupting the natural cadence of your meal, offering a genuine touch that makes navigating menu options and timing feel effortless.
Even the close-knit setting manages to avoid feeling cramped, retaining a sense of personal space that makes every visit feel cozy rather than crowded. It’s a place where locals and visitors alike can take time to savor not just the food, but the shared human moments that Korean yakiniku dining invites.

This yakiniku restaurant offers both buffet and non-buffet options, which makes it flexible depending on your appetite and budget If you visit during lunch time, the prices are noticeably more affordable, and there are multiple set options to choose from. The quality of the meat is very good — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Everything we ordered was served quickly, which made the experience even more enjoyable ⏱ It’s a great place to enjoy yakiniku whether you’re going for a casual lunch or a more indulgent dinner. Highly recommended for meat lovers looking for good value and tasty food!
Alright Food Reviews 21 Nov 2025
One of the better yakiniku options out there in the medium price range. Beef was really tasty, and the sides were good too. All you can drink option as well. The staff were great considering there was a fairly large group of us. I recommend this place without a doubt.

We really enjoyed dinner here. We had a little difficulty initially with reading the menu on our tablet as the conversion to English wasn't well. Once the staff helped us we were able to order and really enjoyed the food.

80 minutes to order, there’s a timer on the iPad on your table to count you down. You’ll have about 2 hours (if not mistaken) to dine in. Roughly 5000 yen per adult, half price for kids and free for toddlers. My friends kid was 3 going 4 and was considered a toddler(free of charge) , and another 7 going 8 (half price) The meat was so good. Can’t believe it’s buffet. And even the dessert was good (looks like a Swiss roll with whipped cream) and a orange jelly thing(similar to what you can find in donki)
